G-20 conference will be held in Istanbul

Turkish State minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan said G-20 conference will be held in Istanbul in late April or early May.

Babacan said energy and food prices will be discussed at the meeting.

Babacan said "In late April or early may, we will host the G-20 meeting. It will be organized by Turkey and France as the term-presidents of G-20. Energy and food prices will be laid on table here in Istanbul. 2011 will be a year when nothing can be run on auto-pilot. In 2011, we have to keep a close eye on every single detail at all times, and carry out our plans accordingly. There is no place for drowsiness. We have to carry on with strong policies. Stability comes first."
